6/26/18 - Hiebert has a slender and athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 165-pounds. He ran a 7.20 60, 4.28 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 80. During batting practice, Hiebert showed an simple load, shorter stride, loose hands, easy swing, line drive contact, gap-to-gap approach. Defensively, he has easy arm action, high ¾ release, positional velo of 75 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Hiebert throws from an over the top arm slot, easy arm action, smooth delivery, gains momentum down the mound, fastball is 71-76 mph, throws a 2-seam with arm side run, high percentage of strikes, changeup shows some depth, near fastball armspeed, 63-64 mph, high percentage of strikes, curveball has 12-to-6 shape, thrown for strikes, 62-63 mph.
5/31/16 - Hiebert is a 5-foot-10 141-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2019 class.  He ran a 7.70 60 and a 4.53 home-to-first.  He posted a 75 mph exit velo. At the plate, open stance, in line stride, creates momentum with front side, no wasted movement in load, hand work inside of ball, oppo approach, solid consistent contact during batting practice, had a pair of singles in game action.  In the outfield, 74 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, fields ball in a position ready to throw, quick glove to hand exchange, mostly accurate throws. Hiebert is a 5-foot-10 141-pound left-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2019 class. Hiebert has an over-the-top delivery, smooth and controlled tempo, throws with regular effort, stride is inline to plate, athletic finish, threw mostly fastball duing his inning of work with knuckleball mixed in, fastball at 65-68 mph, works mostly glove side, knuckleball at 59-62 mph, slight sink.
