On the infield, 72 mph positional velo, three quarters release, works around ball creating momentum to throw, clean exchange on time with footwork, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Alexander has an over the top release, controlled tempo during wind up, rocks into back leg during stretch, strides slightly open, loose arm action, repeats, fastball at 75-77 mph, breaking ball has gradual 12-to-5 action, 67-79 mph, throws splitter at 65-67 mph, some sink.
