CIF Matthew Genrich (Topeka, 2024) is an uncommitted senior to keep an eye on this spring. Genrich swung a physical right handed barrel, getting the head out on several balls to elevate them pullside. He produced an event leading 90.4 max exit velocity on his best barrel; averaging 86 mph on the day. Defensively, the righty showed sure-handed actions in the field, firing his firmest throw across the infield at 80 mph - top 3 at the event. Additionally, Genrich ran a 7.05 60 to wrap up the day.
