10/28/18 - Orton is a 5-foot-8 150-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and left-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class. He Ran a 7.70 60 and a 4.56 home to first. He has a 79 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts with wide base, pre-pitch rhythm in lower half, hands load with in line stride, quick bat speed, level plane through the zone, mostly pull side side contact during hitting evals, stays balanced. On the infield, 71 mph positional velocity, athletic actions, quick to the ball with footwork, quick catch and throw, loose over the top arm slot, aggressive, mostly accurate throws.
