One of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the Kansas’ 2023 class. 6.94 runner with an athletic right-handed stroke, some length to contact and keeps the barrel in the zone. Active defender on the infield with some arm strength, has been up to 86 mph across the diamond at our events.
Positional Profile: 2B
Body: 5-foot-11, 170-pound lean and athletic frame with room for added strength and size.
Hit: RHH. At the plate starts with a neutral stance and upright posture. Sets hands at shoulder height with a vertical bat angle. Simple stride with even weight distribution. Keeps ball flight down with lower line drive approach. Bat speed and hand strength are in development.
Power: 79 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF-76 mph. arm slot with clean release and arm action working across the body.
Defense: In the infield shows soft hands and fields the ball out front. Likes to let the ball come to him with short feet creating angles to first base with the hips and shoulder turn. Good trajectory on throws across the diamond.
Run: 4.39 runner from home to first.
