Dilley is a 6-foot-2 195-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2020 class.  He ran a 7.61 60 and a 5.17 home to first.  He had an 84 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, balanced set up, smooth load to back side, accelerates hands through he zone, loose and quick bat speed, showed feel for the barrel, middle to pull side line drives, flashed pull side power, simple and repeatable swing mechanics.  Behind the plate, sits low with flexibility in hips, over the top arm slot, clean transfer, replaces feet, accurate thrower, 76 mph positional velocity, throws have carry to the bag, 1.99 to 2.12 pop times.

At the plate, starts slightly open, controlled leg lift, hands separate from stride, smooth swing with accelerated hands, slight lift to bat path at finish, middle to pull side line drives.  Behind the plate, over the top arm slot, sits low with shoulder-width base, replaces feet on time with exchange, mostly accurate throws, 77 mph positional velocity, 2.02 to 2.16 pop times. On the infield, 84 mph positional velocity, high three quarters arm slot, active footwork, smooth to the ball, soft hands with clean transfer on time with momentum in feet, mostly accurate throws.
