We had a chance to see the former Future Gamer and Nicholls State recruit in the last game at the Trey Altick Tournament last weekend against Opelousas Catholic.  St. Angelo got the start on the mound and took a tough loss, after tossing 7 innings and giving up 6 H and 2 ER with 2 BB and 5 K's, and he did so on only 86 pitches (57 strikes | 29 balls).  He aggressively attacked hitters with a 82-86 mph FB and showed confidence to land his 77-78 mph SL and low-70's CH.  At the plate, he showed good patience, as he never chased out of the zone, on route to finishing the game 1-3 with a 2B and a BB.  In the bottom of the 6th inning, he smoked a ball that the shortstop made a nice diving play on, and Brusly would've taken a one-run lead had that play not been made.

Levi Wagnon, East Beauregard High School (LA), 2026
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-3, 208-pounds. Physical.
Hit: RHH. Wide base, hands below shoulder height, simple load. Handsy swing without much lower-half involvement, punches the bat head straight to the ball with level extension.
Arm: RH. INF-71 mph. Longer arm path, 3/4 slot.
Defense: Takes a straight on approach to the ball, fields the ball a little deep with average hands and footwork.

Positional Profile: 2B/RHP
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. Long and lean.
Delivery: Starts on 1B side of rubber and stays there throughout a quicker delivery, moves aggressively down the hill, strides on line and finishes square to his target.
Arm Action: RH. Quick arm action with a 3/4-high 3/4 release.
FB: T83, 79-82 mph. Can command to both sides of the plate and stays down in the zone. T2115, 2017 average rpm.
CB: 70-72 mph. "10-4" shape, average break and depth. T1999, 1930 average rpm.
ATH: 7.63 runner in the 60. 1.80 and 4.20 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Positional Profile: 2B/RHP
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. Long and lean.
Hit: RHH. Balanced and athletic set-up with rhythm in his hands, uses a simple load and stride. Points knob down to the catcher right before front foot strike and uses his hands to drop the bat head on the baseball with level extension and a two-handed finish, good bat to ball skills that translated in game with a couple of hits on Sunday.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 85.4 mph. 333' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-79 mph. Longer arm path with a 3/4 release.
Defense: Starts higher in his stance, then sinks down into legs to receive the ball with two hands out front, received the ball a little deeper, showed confidence with playing with one hand on back hand play.
ATH: 7.63 runner in the 60. 1.80 and 4.20 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. Athletic with long limbs
Delivery: Starts on 1B side of rubber and stays there throughout a quick and repeatable delivery, finishes on-line to his target
Arm Action: RH. Short and quick arm action, releases from a 3/4 to high 3/4 slot
FB: T79, 77-79 mph. Gets on top of the ball well, showed some sink at times T1926, 1844 average rpm.
CB: 67-69 mph. Short and tight "11-5" shape T1945, 1865 average rpm.
SL: 69-69 mph. Short lateral break with some depth when on top T2020, 1942 average rpm.
CH: 72-72 mph. Keeps same arm stroke, some fade T1348, 1320 average rpm.

Body: 6-0, 150-pounds. Tall and lean
Hits: RHH. Starts in an upright, balanced stance and uses a quick knee to knee load and stride to get to center Showed a flat and short path to contact with level extension and a two-handed finish, quick hands with some present pat speed, repeated swing well and showed good barrel awareness
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 81.5 MPH. 307' max distance.
Arm: RH. Short and quick with a lower 3/4 release
Defense: Received the ball out front and clean, stayed back on his heels at times, moved ok to left and right and on bounder play
Run: 7.98 runner in the 60.
