Cape Cod: Saw limited action in 2022 at LSU and 2023 at Oklahoma State, but he looks like a breakout candidate as a transfer for South Alabama in 2024. An undersized grinder at 5-foot-9, 160 pounds, Holt is a good runner who defends well in center field and second base. He’s a lefthanded slasher with a bit of sneaky strength in his swing, and he endears himself to his coaches and fans for how hard he plays.
