3/1/16 A 6-foot-2, 215-pound right-hander with a large, strong frame. Long, clean arm action into a high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and easy effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction and lands square. Fastball sat 83-85 mph with quality angle and solid life. Showed advanced feel for sharp secondary stuff that included a breaking ball with 11/5 shape, tight spin, and depth that proved to be a swing-and-miss pitch. Struggled early in game with command, surrendering 2 runs in the 1^st inning. Settled down nicely, dominating hitters for the remainder of his outing. Struck out 10 in 5 innings, giving up 2 hits and 2 runs.

11/7/15 A 6-foot-2, 215-pound right-handed pitcher with a large, strong frame. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm,, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 84-86 mph with sink, angle and control. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with fastball arm speed, tight spin, and depth at 71-72 mph. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 74-75 mph.
