Matthew Lee: C/3B, (2020) Catholic (BR), LA.  Louisiana-Monroe Commit, 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 81 mph. Began in a balanced stance with a big load, then used a short stride before his swing. Displayed an uphill swing plane and above average bat speed, and he ended his swing with high finish. Gap to gap approach. He produced a position velocity of 72 mph during throw downs; had athletic footwork and soft hands. Behind the plate, displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.93-2.00 pop time. Had a short compact  arm action on his throws. In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.2.

10/28/18 Currently ranked No. 33 in Louisiana’s 2020 class.  Athletic 5-foot-11, 170-pounds with lean, wiry build, and room to add strength. Showed off high-level catch and throw skills with soft hands, fluid hips, and quick footwork. Posting a pop time ranging 2.01-2.08 seconds, he showed quick, clean exchanges, consistently getting the ball out of his glove quickly with accuracy and carry on throws to 2nd, posting a positional velocity of 72 mph.  Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup with smooth load, short stride, and quality balance. Leg kick load as hands work back into firing position. Line-drive/ground ball contact with fluid rhythm, and short path to the baseball, posted an exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash.
