Body: 6’2”, 174 pounds. Long, lanky, athletic, projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Hits from an upright, balanced, square stance at the plate. Hands pre set with a smooth back load and short stride. Creates some hand separation and stays short to the ball with an uphill swing path. Generates some lower half involvement with quick hands and good extension through the zone, finishing with one hand. Solid gap to gap line drive approach.
Power: 74 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. OF - 68 mph. Throws with short arm action from a high three quarter slot.
Defense: Plays through the ball, fielding it out in front with two hands. Showed fundamental footwork with soft hands and quick, clean exchanges.
Run: 4.88 home-to-first time.
Delivery: Controlled side-step wind-up and high leg kick into a tall balance point. Clean hand separation and smooth stride down the mound. Lands in-line to home plate with good extension over front side. Finishes slightly upright with easy effort.
