7.12.16 - Haass is a lanky righty with a 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame. Has fast arm speed and recently sat 86-88 mph in his outing at the Top Prospect Games. Haass has been relatively quiet under the radar and is one to keep an eye on with his fast arm speed and a plus slider that looks to have swing and miss potential at 75-78 mph. Haass looks to have plenty more in the tank down the road. DELAWARE COMMIT

6.21.16 - Athletic frame at 6-foot, 155-pounds. An electric arm with more in the tank that has flown relatively under the radar. Controlled delivery, shorter clean arm action with fast arm speed. Smooth lower half with nice drive from back side and finishes off toward first base side after release. Throws from a 3/4 arm angle. Fastball has slight run on the pitch up to 88 mph. Slider has late life on the pitch and is a put away type pitch up to 78 mph. Shows feel for a change up at 74-75 mph.
11.1.15 - Lean, lanky frame at 5-foot-11, 155-pounds. Ran a 7.11 60-yard dash. Hits from athletic set up. High leg kick with load. Short swing path with quick hands. Shows balance throughout swing. Exit velocity of 88 mph. Sound footwork and clean exchange. Quick hands. Works thru ball well on throws. Short whippy arm action throwing from a low ¾ arm slot. Throws across infield at 87 mph.....Up-tempo delivery. Creates torque in lift. Lands slightly closed and finishes to first base side. Loose arm action with fast, whippy arm speed. Fastball has slight run to the pitch up to 87 mph. Breaking ball is sharp with near fastball arm speed and 11/5 shape. Potential to be a put away pitch at 76 mph. Change has fade to the pitch with near fastball arm speed at 77 mph. More in tank.
6.30.15 - Athletic and lanky frame at 5-foot-11 155-pounds. Throws from a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed and a free arm action. Controlled delivery that builds up sped throughout. Early front leg causes recoil and finishes towards first base. Arm works well. Pitches with some effort. Once gets consistent timing with lower half could get more velo. Fastball has slight run on the pitch at 83-86 mph topping out at 87. Breaking ball has tight rotation and late break with 11/5 action at 75 mph and near fastball arm speed.
