7.19.16 - Ryan Bywaterspitched 84-87 on the day and showed better rhythm on the mound as well as more consistent extension at release working down in the zone better. The lanky and projectable righty had nice command of his breaking ball on the day in his appearance. Bywaters showed off some pop from the left side during batting practice taking a couple out of the yard on the day.

Breaking ball has 12/6 action with depth and tight rotation. Potential at 72 mph. Change has sink to the pitch at 78 mph. More in the tank as he continues to add to his frame.

Level bat path and gets slightly uphill with fast bat speed. Pull side power potential. Exit velocity of 95 mph. Nice hands with clean exchange in outfield. Active feet and works thru the ball. Loose arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Throws have some life on them at 89 mph.....Athletic frame with some length at 6-foot-4 170-pounds. Controlled delivery with nice tempo. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot with loose arm action. Fast arm speed with an in-line finish. Fastball has slight run at 86 mph. Breaking ball has 12/6 action with depth and tight rotation. Potential at 72 mph. Change has sink to the pitch at 78 mph. Will be a player to keep an eye on through his development.
10.25.15 - Lanky, athletic frame at 6-foot-4, 170-pounds. Runs a 7.31 60-yard dash. Hits from an open setup at the plate. Short path to the ball with good extension through contact and quick bat speed. Pull type hitter with power potential. Exit velocity of 84 mph. Has active feet in the outfield. Plays thru the ball well with nice hands and a clean exchange. Has a long arm action with arm speed. Throws were accurate at 89 mph. Projects well on the mound. Throws from a high three-quarters arm angle. Free arm action with fast arm speed. Pitches with regular effort. Shoulders stay square and lands in line to plate with athletic finish. Uses lower half well. Fastball has late sink to the pitch at 84-86 and hit 88 twice. Breaking ball has 11-to-5 shape and tight rotation with gradual break currently and potential to be a sharp pitch. 72 mph on the breaking ball. Changeup has run and sink to the pitch at 77 mph.
