Anthony Pesci: 2B/RHP, (2024) Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep, MI. 6-foot-4, 185-pound. Smooth at the plate, the left-handed hitter was ranked 3rd with an exit velocity of 94 mph. (69.8 mph bat speed average). (21.7 mph hand speed average). Starts in an open wide stance with a quick load, then uses a quick stride. Had explosive bat speed, upward swing plane and level front foot finish. Barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Projectable solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 83 mph; had sure hands, a clean exchange, and consistent footwork. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.44. Athletic capable on the mound, showing some good arm speed he had an over-the-top ¾ arm angle and a loose long arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher and uses some effort. Has a tall balance point with even shoulders. Lands open with a clean an athletic finish. Curveball (68-72 mph), changeup (75-77 mph). Sat with his fastball at 83-85 mph with a max of 86 mph; (Max spin 2228; Avg 2104).
