Brendan Burch: LHP/1B, (2022) Plainwell, MI. Lawrence University Commit, 6-foot-2, 225-pound solid frame. Solid at the plate, the left-handed hitter's 89 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Started in a balanced stance with a controlled arm bar load, then used a quick stride before his swing. Bat speed is above average, has upward swing plane and high finish. Produced a lot of loud contact and found some barrels. Aggressive approach. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 69 mph; has soft hands, consistent feet and a clean exchange. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 8.14. Solid on the mound, showing some arm speed he used an over-the-top arm angle with a loose arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher and shows some effort. Tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands open with a clean finish. Changeup (66-67 mph).Threw his fastball 72-73 mph; had consistent control and tailing action. His 1/7 curveball (62-63) has consistent command and sweeping action.

Hitting: At the plate a strong framed left hand hitter sets up with an open stance taking his hands back turning his front shoulder to a closed position while making contact. Showed the ability to get his hands through the zone making some loud contact at the plate . Hit a lots of line drives to left field. 

 Fielding: Working at first base shows a feel around the bag, moves light on his feet taking a few steps and throwing a crossed the diamond

 Pitching: On the mound takes a wide step left working towards his balance point at waist high level delivers from a 3/4 with easy efforts. Curveball showed a gradual break with a sweeping action.
