6-foot-3, 205 pound strong framed prospect passes the eye test when he steps on the diamond. An aggressive swinger who has raw power at the plate. Works the pull side. 94 mph exit velo. On the mound wasn't as sharp as we've seen him in the past. Fastball ranged 69-79 mph, with a spinning 58-60 mph curve and a 66 mph change up.

6-foot-2, 190 pound strong frame RHP prospect was a surprise at last summer's TPG lighting up the radar gun. At the plate has a balanced set up with his hands back uses a front leg trigger and swings uphill aggressively. Strong kid who gets the most out of his swings. On the mound has very good mound presence using a slower motion. Fastball ranged 79-85 mph down in the zone with a cut action. 11/5 late breaking curve 69-72 mph and a 77-78 mph straight change up.

Tumpkin has a strong 6-foot-2, 195-pound build. He has an upright stance with high hands and has good rhythm with his load. He uses a leg kick and has a short swing that keeps the barrel through the zone. His exit velocity was 84 mph and he ran a 4.63 home-to-1st. On the infield, he fields the ball out front and gets his feet set well to deliver the throw across the infield. His position velocity was 81 mph. On the mound, he throws from a high-3/4 arm slot with a long, loose arm action that comes through quick. His fastball sat 82-86 mph while topping out at 88 mph with downhill plane. His slider had 10/4 action has it had late break sitting 70-72 mph. He showed easy effort with his delivery and had good body control while staying balanced.

Tumpkin has a strong 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame. He stands upright with high hands and shows good rhythm. He uses a slight leg kick with his load and stays through the ball. His exit velocity was 82 mph and he ran a 4.65 home-to-1st. Defensively, he fields with his hips low to the ground with calm feet and his hands out front. His position velocity was 80 mph. On the mound, he throws from a high-3/4 arm slot with a long, loose arm action. His fastball had some run at 81-83 mph. His curveball sat 65-67 mph with 11/5 shape to it and late depth. He drives towards home plate with his lower half and has a slight stride across his body. He finishes tall when delivering the ball.

Tumpkin has a 6-foot-2, 190-pound build. He uses a leg kick with his rhythm and a bat tip when creating separation. He shows power potential with good bat speed. His exit velocity was 82 mph and he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.40. On the infield, he shows soft hands while fielding the ball in front of his body and good footwork. His velocity across the diamond was up to 82 mph. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an effortless arm action. His fastball was heavy and sat 79-81 mph while topping out at 82 mph. His curveball was 64-67 mph with late, sharp 11/5 break. His changeup was 74-75 mph with some run. He hides the ball and has some deception.

Tumpkin has a projectable 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame. Strong framed athlete, stands tall, using a leg kick along with a short swing. 84 mph exit velocity. Works fast on the mound throwing over the top with effort. Heavy 77-79 mph fastball, late sharp breaking curveball 59-61 mph, and 72-73 mph changeup. He ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. On the infield, he fields the ball out in front of his body and shows good hands. His velocity across the infield was 79 mph.
