Player Spotlight 

Jacob Walther: C/2B, (2022) Walled Lake Western, MI. 6-foot-1, 175-pound. Capable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 83 mph. (63.17 mph bat speed average). (20.55 mph hand speed average). Started in an open tall stance then used a leg kick. Had an uphill swing plane and a high finish. During the round he showed some loud contact. Pull side approach. While catching, he made strong throws to second and produced an efficient position velocity of 80 mph; had a quick exchange, sure hands, and consistent footwork. he had a pop time of 2.05-2.19. Recorded a time of 7.89 in the 60-yard dash.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Started in an open stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap. Was able to create some loud contact and found some barrels. While catching, he made strong, efficient throws to second at velocities up to 81 mph. Behind the plate, he made strong, efficient throws to second at velocities up to 81 mph; Had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.97-2.00 pop time.

Athletic at the plate, the right-handed hitter was ranked 3rd with an exit velocity of 87 mph.Started in a crouched stance with a wrapping load, then used a small leg kick. Has explosive bat speed, rotational uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through the round he found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 83 mph. While catching, his strong arm produced efficient throws to second at velocities up to 79 mph. Behind the plate, he made strong throws to second and produced an efficient position velocity of 79 mph; Recorded pop times of 2.01-2.04. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.88.
