Luke Anderson: 2B/SS, (2025) Gull Lake, MI. 5-foot-11, 170-pound. (64.2 mph bat speed average). (19.0 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a short controlled stride. He produced a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Athletic in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 78 mph; has smooth feet, a clean exchange, and consistent hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.35.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Luke Anderson: SS/RHP, (2025) Gull Lake, MI. 5-foot-10, 160-pound. In the box, Anderson recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. (62.5 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Bat speed is raw explosive, displays a rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. Pull side approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 77 mph; had a clean exchange, sure hands, and consistent footwork. Fields the ball deep. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.32.

Luke Anderson: SS/RHP, (2025) Gull Lake, MI. 5-foot-10, 160-pound. Confident solid during batting practice, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 84 mph. (62.1 mph bat speed average). (18.3 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed is quick present, exhibits a short upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found a couple of barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 75 mph. Smooth capable on the mound, used a moderate arm action and low ¾ arm angle while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows decent effort. Even shoulders and a low balance point. Has upright falling off finish. Threw his fastball 73-75 mph; showed tailing action and command some in the zone with flat movement. (Max spin 1950; Avg 1824). His flat curveball (60-63) had glove side control and sweeping slurvey action. (Max spin 1599; Avg 1553). He showed fading action and arm side command on his flat changeup (69-71).

Hit: (LHH) Confident solid. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Quick present bat speed. Good extension on his finish, short upward swing. Line drive approach. 

Power: 84 mph exit velocity, average 70.7 mph. 62.1 mph bat speed average. 18.3 mph hand speed average.

Arm: 75 mph infield velocity. 

Pitching: Smooth capable. Drop-and-drive delivery, decent effort. Low ¾ arm angle, some arm speed, moderate arm action. Low balance point, even shoulders, upright falling off finish.

FB: T75. 73-75 mph. (Max spin 1950;  Avg 1824). Some in the zone accuracy, tailing action, flat movement. 

CB: 60-63 mph. Glove side command, sweeping slurvey action, flat movement. (Max spin 1599; Avg 1553). 

CH: 69-71 mph. Arm side control, fading action, flat movement.

Hitting- At the plate a young hitter set up with a slightly closed stance from an upright position. Works the middle of the diamond with a two hand swing path. Line drive hitter. 

2/23/19

Swing: Young left hand hitter sets up with elevated hands and a wide base. Has a toe tap load, lowering his hands making solid contact. Top of the order type hitter. 66 mph exit velocity.

Fielding:  Makes every play, takes a step towards the ball fielding the ball out front while working lower, takes a step and throws 57 mph across the infield.
