6-foot-2, 225 pound RHP pitching prospect has been regarded in MI as one of the top pitchers since he was 12 years old. On the mound steps left lowers hands, moving into a waist high leg lift throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle using a fast arm. Fastball has good late tail and very heavy 83-85 mph. Sharp late breaking 73-75 mph curve. A deceptive 76-77 mph change up thrown with the same arm speed as his fastball.

Puckett has a 6-foot-2, 230-pound build. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot and has a long, loose arm action. His fastball was heavy and sat 86-88 mph with good sink. His curveball had sharp 10/4 action to it and was late breaking while sitting 73-74 mph. His changeup was thrown with near fastball arm speed and sat 73-74 mph with late sink. He showed good command of all three pitches while repeating his mechanics.

Puckett has a strong 6-foot-1, 240-pound build. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and has a long, quick arm action. He threw a heavy fastball that sat 84-86 mph with late sink. His slider was tight and had late, sharp 10/4 break and sat 69-72 mph. His changeup had late sink at 70-71 mph. Puckett commanded all three pitches in the strike zone and showed good body control through out his delivery.

6-foot-2, 230-pound big body build. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Uses a leg kick to load with good load. Barrel is flat and showed some power during batting practice. Registered top exit velocity off a tee at 85 mph and was 5.12 home to first. Over at first base he has soft hands and tends to field the ball into his body with 70 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound he really was impressive. Has a slow tempo delivery that is pretty simple with good direction at foot strike. Throws from a high-¾ slot with fastball sitting 82-85 mph with a lot of life to it. Tends to lower his slot on his breaking ball at 69-72 mph with 10/4 break. Showcased a solid changeup with good arm speed at 74 mph.

6-foot-2, 220-pound two-way prospect. At the plate, Puckett shows some quality bat speed. Starting with an open stance, takes aggressive, powerful swings driving the baseball from gap to gap, recording an exit velocity of 80 mph. Keeps the ball in front well at first base and has a strong, 82 mph arm on the infield. On the mound, Puckett uses his strong lower half to produce his 81-84 mph fastball with major arm side run. He also features a late, tight breaking curveball at 70-71 mph.
