6-foot-3, 220 pound strong framed prospect at the plate shows raw power with a closed stance. Works the pull side driving the baseball. In the field played well around 3B, showing an understanding of the position. As a pitcher set up with a narrow wind up moving to his balance point striding and throwing from a low 3/4 arm angle. Lots of strikes, fastball sat 78-82 mph mixed in a 66-67 mph curve.

Stants has an athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. He stays tall and upright in his stance with a two-handed finish and the ability to keep the barrel through the baseball. On the infield, he gets his hips into a good position and fields the ball out front, driving his right leg towards the target. His exit velocity was 82 mph, his infield velocity was 72 mph, and his 60-yard dash time was 7.16. On the mound, he has a controlled motion and throws from an over-the-top arm slot. His fastball was 69-76 mph and was consistently thrown for strikes. His curveball was 47-55 mph and had 12/6 break on it while his changeup sat 56-59 mph.
