Rocco Cardinale: RHP/OF, (2024) Grosse Pointe North, MI. 6-foot-2, 175-pound. (68.2 mph bat speed average). (20.9 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced open stance with a small active load, then uses a quick stride. He created some loud contact and found some barrels. Capable in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 87 mph; has average feet, firm hands, and a lengthy clean exchange. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball to the side. Solid capable on the mound, used a high ¾ ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action while showing good arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows some effort. Displays even shoulders and a consistent athletic balance point. Lands closed with a clean upright finish. (Max spin 2016; Avg 1952).
