Ryan McKay: 2B/SS, (2023) St. Marys Preparatory School, MI. 5-foot-9, 170-pound. In the box, Mckay recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph. (65.03 mph bat speed average). (20.96 mph hand speed average). Smooth in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 76 mph; had a clean quick exchange, consistent footwork, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.1.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Ryan McKay: 2B/SS, (2023) St. Marys Preparatory School, MI. 5-foot-9, 170-pound. Solid at the plate, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 90 mph. Began in an open balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed was explosive, showed a short upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through the round he found lots of barrels with a lot of loud contact. Pull side approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 84 mph. Recorded a 60 time of 7.07 at the event.

Hit: (LHH) Begins in an open balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Explosive bat speed. Good extension on his finish, short upward swing. Pull side approach. 

Power: 90 mph exit velocity, average 83.36 mph. 66.53 mph bat speed average. 21.51 mph hand speed average.

Arm: 84 mph infield velocity. 

Speed: 7.07 (60-yard).

Hitting: At the plate has a balanced upright stance keeping his hands back in a loaded position. Small hand load while getting his hands through the zone to make consistent contact. Keeps hands in the hitting zone. 

Fielding: Sure hand middle infielder that ranges well to his glove side. Soft hands in the field, gets around the ball throwing with a short arm action.

5-foot, 123 pound left hand hitting prospect has a compact frame currently that will certainly change over the years. Sets up with a balanced stance from the left side. Has a smooth load and swings uphill. Makes consistent hard contact showing some pop off the bat. In the field has a solid glove receiving the ball out front.
