Uncommitted. Edwards has a lean, athletic frame, standing at 5’11” 175lbs. Really impressed during his outing for FTB Phillies Ga. Athletic, uptempo delivery with a shorter arm swing and a high ¾ arm slot. He worked the fastball mostly 81-83, topping out at 84.4. The pitch had some bore to it, that he used to get in on hitters and also create some tilt down to the bottom of the zone. Off of the fastball, he worked in a tight, harder slider at 76-78. He showed pretty advanced feel for the arsenal and solid command to boot. Athletic mover that still has a ton of projection left as he continues to grow into his body. Good follow.
