Uses a relaxed approach in the outfield while the ball explodes out of his hand at 88 mph.

English has an athletic, projectable 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame. He has a wide, upright stance and rests the bat on his shoulder. His shows good rhythm with his load and weight transfer while showing an uphill plane to his swing. His exit velocity was 86 mph and he ran a 4.49 home-to-1st. In the outfield, he shows above-average range and takes aggressive routes to the ball with rhythm His position velocity was 84 mph from the outfield.
