Has good deception on his pitches. Fastball sat 74-77 mph with late life. Slow breaking curve 53-58 mph and a fading 62-63 mph.

Denny has a lanky 6-foot, 145-pound frame. He stands upright with high hands. He uses a slight leg kick with his load and shows good rhythm with an uphill swing. His exit velocity was 73 mph and he ran a 4.57 home-to-1st. At first base, he fields the ball with rhythm and with his hands out front. His velocity across the diamond was 77 mph. On the mound, he throws from a high-3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. His fastball sat 72-76 mph with run. His curveball had 12/6 shape at 61-63 mph. His changeup sat 68-69 mph with some fade. He hides the ball well and drives towards his target with his lower half.
