'20 Jacob Contreras who started at 1B for Living Legends. A big body with a strong swing and mid/pull approach. Shows barrel control with pop and uses a middle approach. Defensively makes routine plays and an accurate arm with carry.
6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.86 runner. Stronger build. Upright and relaxed stance. Body and hand load back. Arm bar at times. Mid/pull approach with fly ball contact. Inconsistent barrel and flashed pull pop. 91 mph exit velocity. IF- Moves well around bag with good first step. Sure hands and makes routine play. 81 mph arm strength with good accuracy and average carry. On mound- Slow tempo in delivery. Lands and throws across body. Throws from a low ¾ arm slot. Fastball has varying action at 79-81 mph. Drops elbow on curveball and has 11/5 break with inconsistent feel at 65-67 mph. Average feel for change-up with down action at 68-71 mph.
