7/21/23

Hess presented himself as an under-the-radar athlete to our staff, as he finished the first two days of the tournament with an unblemished 5-for-5 line at the plate. Standing at 6-foot, 185-pounds, Hess is a scrappy athlete who can play nearly any position on the field, showcasing his versatility and sneaky power in the batter’s box. He illustrated his quick swing and quality bat-to-ball skills throughout the first two days of the weekend, spraying line drives to all portions of the field. Hess, after putting up 90 mph exit velocities Minnesota Top Prospect Games just a couple of weeks prior to his appearance at The Rock.
