Campbell got up on the mound in the first game of the weekend, and dominated his start to get the win. With his 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame, Campbell’s cross-fire motion allowed him to reach 86 mph multiple times, ranging in the mid-80s throughout his start. The No. 47 ranked prospect in Minnesota complemented that pitch with a 2,500 RPM slider, both thrown for strikes and used as an out-pitch in his outing. Campbell’s stock continues to rise as an uncommitted prospect, as he struck out 10 batters and allowed zero hits, all in five innings of work. On the offensive end, Campbell manned the cleanup spot as well, earning a hit and showcasing his versatility as a two-way athlete.
