Closed things out for Missouri State. The sophomore and 2024 draft eligible started his one inning a little on the shaky side, walking two of the first three batters. However, he was able to induce a double play and a strikeout to end his self-created threat. Lambert is a work-in-progress at this point, but does have many attributes of a top ten round arm, including a loose, quick arm that produced high-spin heaters at 92-93, while touching 94. He also showed strong feel for a 83-84 mph slider (2600+ rpm) that projects to plus with continued refinement.
Positional Profile: RHP Follow on mound in 2021 class.
Body: 6-3, 190-pounds. Big, physical frame.
Delivery: Quick tempo through delivery. Works down mound w/ good extension.
Arm Action: RH. Compact high 3/4 arm action.
FB: T90, 87-90 mph. Heavy w/ slight cut action. Jumps out of hand on downward plane.
CB: 68-70 mph. Sharp 11/5 break. Small shape w/ depth.
SL: 75-77 mph. Small 10/4 shape. Late break.
Positional Profile: RHP Strong follow on mound in 2021 class.
Body: 6-3, 190-pounds. Projectable frame.
Delivery: Quick tempo through leg lift and delivery. Solid direction down mound.
Arm Action: RH. Compact arm action from high 3/4 arm slot.
FB: T89, 87-89 mph. Downward action w/ occasional life.
CB: 71-72 mph. Sharp 11/5 break. Larger shape and good depth.
CH: 83-84 mph. Heavy, firm. Consistently strikes in bottom of strike zone.
6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed throwing pitcher. Balanced athletic start into leg lift. Direction down mound is slightly across body. Continued growth and weight will help with development. Short arm action with some tilt on 78-82 mph Fastball. Curveball is 65-67 mph with small break and early average 11/5 shape. Average fade and feel for 74-75 mph change-up.
