2/10/18 - Klein is a 6-foot-1 180-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class. He ran a 7.40 60 and has a 90 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, starts in slightly open base, athletic position, quick tempo to load, slight rotation with hands to lode, quick aggressive swing, fast bat speed, occasional pull side power, middle to pull side drives during hitting evaluations.  On the infield, 80 mph positional velocity, short over the top release, quick exchange, hands and feet work together, quick to the ball with momentum to throw after the catch, lean frame with room to add strength. On the mound, Klein has a three quarters arm slot, throws with some effort, drop and drive type delivery, has late run on fastball with feel for a change up, repeats delivery, fastball at 79-83 mph, late run, throw for a strike, 11-to-5 breaking ball, late action 66-70 mph, throws for strike, has command of change up, throws with near fastball arm speed, slight sink, 61-63 mph. 


6/13/17 - Klein is a strong 6-foot 175-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pticher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 7.93 laser timed 60 and a 5.25 home to first.  He has an 85 mph exit velo.
