2/16/15 - Jennings is a strong, athletic 5-foot-11, 180-pound right-hand hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher that attends Rock Bridge HS in Columbia, Missouri. Class of 2016. Open set-up at the plate, minimal load, short path to the ball, loose hands, fast bat, extension through the baseball, balanced. Middle to slight pull hard contact in batting practice. Advanced approach. Exit velocity 92 mph, ran a 4.38 home-to-first. During defensive drills showed athletic actions. Quick exchanges and release. High three-quarters slot. Strong throws with carry, 86 mph throwing velocity. On the mound showed a simple, up-tempo delivery, repeats. Three-quarters slot, quick arm. Fastball with arm side run, pounded the strike zone, 85-86 mph, touched an 89.Breaking ball with 11/5 shape, late break, 75-79 mph. Sinking change-up, 79-82 mph. Talented class of 2016 two-way player.

6/17/14 - Jennings is a 5-foot-11 175-pound RHP with slight run on a fastball thrown at 78-81 MPH.  He showed good command of an 11-to-5 curveball with sharp, late movement at 71-72 MPH and a change up at 71 MPH.  Jennings had command of the zone with his fastball and curveball, pumping strike after strike.  He has a simple, repeatable delivery with smooth rhythm as he gets down the mound.  

6/17/14 – Jenning is a strong 5-foot-11 175-pound shortstop.  Jennings has a positional velo of 86 MPH using smooth footwork and quick ¾ release.  He has a quick, clean glove-to-hand exchange.  Offensively, Jennings has a exit velo of 86 MPH.  He uses an athletic stance leg kick for timing.  Jennings has a level swing through extension with a gap-to-gap approach.  He runs a 4.69 home-to-first and 7.45 60.   

1/4/14 - The strong, athletic-framed 5-foot-11, 170-pound Jennings throws from a low ¾ slot with a slinging-type arm action.  His 80-82 mph fastball has occasional arm side run.  He threw a 72-74 slider that took a hard left turn as it approached the plate – a potential plus pitch in the future.  He also flashed a 75-76 mph change-up with near fastball arm speed and sinking action.

1/4/14 - Jennings is an athletic 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-hand hitting infielder. In the infield he has soft hands and quick feet with good overall actions.  He threw with short, quick arm action from a ¾ slot. He made accurate throws with a top velocity of 79 mph.  Jennings hits from a tall, slightly open stance.  Jennings uses a short leg kick as he strides slightly closed with a short, smooth hand load.  He demonstrated a level swing, balance and extension with some bat speed as he drove the ball in the middle of the field.  His exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph.
