6/12/18 - Rhoden is a well built 6-foot-2 190-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and left-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class.  He ran a 7.75 60 and a 4.83 home to first.  He has an 83 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts with wide base, slight pre-pitch rhythm in hands, controlled leg lift, in line stride, accelerated hands, level path, gap to gap approach.  On the infield, high three quarters arm slot, feet create momentum during transfer, clean exchange, soft hands. 75 mph positional velocity. On the mound, comes from an over the top arm slot, slightly choppy tempo adding to deception in delivery, in line stride, throw with regular effort, hides ball until release, works to both sides of the plate, fastball at 71-74 mph, slight arm side sink, breaking ball has 2-to-8 shape, changes planes late, 55-57 mph, change up at 65-69 mph, slight sink, throws with near fastball arm speed.

10/22/17 - Rhoden is a strong 6-foot-2 180-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class.  He ran 7.65 60 and a 4.94 home to first.  He has an exit velocity of 78 mph.  At the plate, balanced stance, leg kick, in line stride, body stays under control during swing, level path through hitting zone, swing produced mostly gap to gap line drives, tripled to right center field in game action.  At first base, short over the top release, aggressive to the ball, quick catch and throw, most accurate throws. On the mound, Rhoden has a clean delivery, smooth tempo, over the top release, throws strikes to both sides of the plate, repeats simple delivery, fastball 70-72 mph, slight running action, breaking ball has 1-to-7 shape, gradual late action, 68-69 mph.
