1/11/15 - Hammit is a 6-foot-2 right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.28 60 and a 4.57 home-to-first. Hammit posted the top infield velo on the day at 84 mph, and the top RHH exit velo at 94 mph.  At the plate, Hammit takes an aggressive swing with power, loose hands, controlled lift of front leg, hits with leverage in lower half, consistent solid contact during hitting evaluations.  On the infield, loose and short over the top release, plays through the ball, clean catch and release, accurate throws. One of the top athletes at the event and showed improvements from last event.

6/16/15 - Hammit is a 6-foot-2 160-pound right-handed hitting SS in the 2018 class from Nixa.  Hammit hits with leverage, using a leg kick and fast bat speed, showed power to the pull gap during batting practice, stays balanced with an aggressive swing.  On the infield, Hammit has a three-quarters release and 77 mph positional velo.  He has quick feet and clean exchange, loose arm action and made mostly accurate throws.  Hammit is a player to follow in the class of 2018.
