INF/RHP Cole Chambers (St. Louis University, 2027) continues to solidify his status as the top prospect in Missouri’s 2027 class. A high-level two-sport athlete, Chambers boasts a lean yet powerful 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame and showcased his well-rounded skill set in this look. At the plate, he put together an impressive round of batting practice, consistently driving line drives to all fields with a max exit velocity of 94.9 mph—with even more power to come. Defensively, Chambers displayed fluid, athletic actions with natural range on the infield, pairing it with elite arm strength (T90 mph), making him a strong candidate to stick on the left side at the next level. On the mound, the sophomore impressed with a dynamic, controlled delivery and the ability to command a four-pitch mix. His fastball sat 85-87 mph with life through the zone, while his tight-spinning curveball (71-72 mph) averaged -15.1” of vertical break. He also turned over a low-spin changeup and a tumbling splitter.
