2/15/15 - Olson is a 6-foot-6 197-pound right-handed pitcher, showing an increase in velocity since last event, touched 86 on last pitch, sits 84-85 mph, over-the-top release, regular effort, stays inline down the mound, smooth/repeatable mechanics, one of best curveballs of event, 12-to-6 shape, tight spin, late action, 65-69 mph, change-up at near fastball arm speed, 73-76 mph, arm side sink, throws strikes with three pitches, frame and arm action projects for velo increase.
10/5/14 Olson worked three innings on the mound, allowing one run on five hits with two walks and two strikeouts.  He showed an over-the-top arm slot, fastball at 79-81 mph and a sharp 11-to-5 curveball at 67-73 mph.  His change-up was 67-68 mph with arm side movement.
6/17/14 - Olson is a projectable, athletic 6-foot-6, 187-pound RHP.  Olson was clocked at 77-79 MPH with his fastball, and had a 12-to-5 curveball at 65-69 MPH.  His curveball has sharp, late break can produce batters to swing and miss.  Olson’s change-up is thrown at 70-72 MPH and has late sink.  Olson worked a quick inning in the scrimmage and pounded the strike zone with strikes. He gets good tilt on his fastball and works with an over-the-top release.  Olson works with regular effort and has the athletic ability to add velo to an already loose arm action.  

6/17/14 – Olson is a projectable 6-foot-6 187-pound third baseman.  Olson has an over-the-top release with a positional velo of 79 MPH.  He has soft hands with a fluid exchange and plays through the ball. He made accurate throws to first base.  During batting practice, Olson used the middle of the field and showed power to the pull gap.  He has a level bat path with a good bat speed.  He runs a 4.6 home-to-first and a 7.45 60.   
2/23/14 – Olson is a projectable 6-foot-6, 187-pounds RHP.  He sat at 77-79 with his fastball that had slight run.  Olson has a plus curveball with a 12/6 shape and late break thrown at 63-71 MPH.  His change-up is thrown with near fastball arm speed at 68-70 MPH.  He throws from a high ¾ arm slot and gets good down-angle tilt on his pitches.  Olson has loose arm action that will allow him to add velo as he develops.
2/23/14 – Olson is a lean 6-foot-6, 187-pound 3B.  Olson has a good range with a fluid glove-to-hand exchange.  He has an over-the-top release with a top throw at 76 MPH across the infield.  Offensively, Olson has a smooth load and quick, level bat path.  He has a gap-to-gap approach with power potential to his pull gap.  He posted an 84 MPH exit velo and runs a 4.53 home-to-first base.
In the infield, the lanky 6-foot-4, 180-pound Olson showed soft hands and range to his glove hand side with accurate throws across the field.
