Kesler’s round of defense behind the plate was especially impressive, as the 6-foot, 170-pound junior peppered the second base bag with accurate bullets, popping in the 1.90-to-2.03 range from a loose, quick arm. He took a quality round of BP, peppering line drives back up the middle with an athletic right-handed swing to pair.
Lean 5-foot-11, 150-pound frame that projects. Played up an age level with Mac N Seitz Cooper and comfortably held his own against the older crowd. Long to contact from the right side with wiry strength off the barrel. Quality defender behind the plate with arm strength; reached a 79 mph high at an event this winter.
