Leese has a lean frame and athletic build at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. He is a right-handed hitting corner infield prospect out of Fort Zumwalt South HS. At the event he ran a 7.69 second 60 and 5.32 home-to-first. At the plate, Leese posted an exit velocity of 87 mph, starts open, leg lift, pre-pitch rhythm with hands, slightly closed off stride, leverages front side, gets arms extended, showed some feel for the barrel. Defensively, attacks the baseball, fluid footwork, very accurate with throws, positional velocity of 70 mph.

Leese is a 6-3, 190-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event ran a 7.69 60 and posted an exit velocity of 87mph. During hitting evaluations, athletic open-stance, modified toe-tap/small leg kick load, up-the-middle approach, quick hands compact to contact, solid extension with high hands finish. On the infield, very athletic movements, good tempo, efficient and clean transfers, three-quarters release, reliable hands, accurate throws with carry across infield, positional velocity of 72mph.

Leese is a strong 6-foot-3 190-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri's 2021 class.  He ran a 8.08 60 and has an 84 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open stance, loads weight against back side, minimal hand movement, lands slightly closed, quick bat speed, flashes pop to pull side, mostly middle to pull side contact during hitting evals.  On the infield, high three quarters arm slot, controlled actions, fields ball in athletic position, gains momentum in footwork after the catch, 69 mph positional velocity. On the mound, Leese has a short three quarters arm slot, controlled leg lift, slight rotation in hips at balance point, level and in line as he gets down the mound, repeatable delivery, fastball at 74-75 mph, working up to 77 mph, breaking ball at 61-62 mph, sharp when down in the zone, 11-to-5 shape, late movement.

10.13.18 - 6-foot-3, 180-pound, long-limbed, two-way prospect. At the plate, right-handed hitter, open, athletic setup, long leg-kick stride. Maintains balance at times, long bat path and 75 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, on the infield, steady hands, clean transfer, high ¾ slot and throws clocked at 72 mph. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, stays closed down the mound and works on-line. Fastball, thrown for strikes, works straight, 77-79 mph. Curveball, 11/5 action, depth at times, 62-65 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, straight, 71-74 mph.
