INF Kameron Gillespie (Liberty, MO, 2028) continues to solidify his status as one of the premier infield prospects in the country, delivering yet another head-turning performance in Tuesday’s look. The 5-foot-11, 162-pound soon-to-be sophomore is a quick-twitch athlete who keeps trending upward, coming off a breakout freshman season where he anchored the top of the order for one of Missouri’s top programs. Gillespie posted personal bests across the board, including a 6.68 60-yard dash, 93.5 mph peak exit velocity, and an 83 mph infield velocity. Gillespie is firmly on the national radar and a must-see name in Missouri’s 2028 class.
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-11, 163-pounds. Athletic build.
Hit: LHH. Upright even setup with a balanced base, weight starting on back side, and soft movement in hands. Uses a short leg lift trigger gaining some ground forward. Short flat path through the zone with a slightly uphill finish. Mostly barrels, power present. 67.2 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 84.9 mph. 352' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-83 mph. Short stroke from a sidearm slot.
Defense: Polished actions defensively.
ATH: 6.68 runner in the 60. 1.58 and 3.71 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 26.80 max vertical.

Body: 5-11, 156-pounds. Young, developing frame with present athleticism and room to add strength.
Hit: LHH. Balanced, slightly open setup. Pre-pitch rhythm throughout. Controlled leg and hand load into a short stride. Utilizes his lower half. Fluid line-drive swing plane. Works through the ball with quick hands and extension at contact. Uses all fields with feel for the barrel and flashes of pull side power. 62.8 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 74.6 mph. 306' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-76 mph. Short 3/4 arm action with accuracy.
Defense: Stays low to field with athletic actions. Soft hands out front, clean gather into his body with quick transfers. Developing arm strength.
ATH: 7.13 runner in the 60. 30.50 max vertical.
