6/14/16 - Ficken is a 6-foot-2 195-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.37 60 and a 4.37 home-to-first.  He has a 90 mph exit velo. On the infield, aggressive swing, attacks ball, controlled leg kick, power to pull side, quick bat speed.  On the infield, 75 mph positional velo, loose over the top release, footwork creates momentum though the catch, hands and feet in sync, accurate throws, with carry.

1/18/16 - Ficken is a physical 6-foot-2 195-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class.  Ficken ran a 4.46 home-to-first and had an exit velocity of 91 mph, one of top for the event.  At the plate, Ficken attacked the ball, consistently squaring up the ball to the middle and pull side of the cage, showed power to pull gap, quick hands and fast bat speed, controlled in-line leg kick to start swing.  Defensively, 79 mph positional velo, high three-quarters arm slot, accurate throws, feet are in sync with hands, momentum towards first and through the catch, arm works.

11/1/15 - Ficken is a 5-foot-11 170-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class. Ficken ran a 7.33 60 and a 4.45 home-to-first. He posted one of the top RHH exit velos on the day at 89 mph.  Physical and aggressive at the plate, controlled leg kick to start swing, strong hands with level path to extension, quick bat speed, power up the middle and to pull side. On the infield, 76 mph positional velo, high three quarters arm slot, quick catch and throw, accurate throws.

6/16/15 - Ficken is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound right hand-hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2018 class. He ran a 60 time of 7.42. Over-the-top arm slot, fluid footwork, quick/clean exchange, athletic movements. Position velo – 76 mph.  At the plate, Ficken has an athletic setup with a smooth load. Level swing produces gap-to-gap line drives, projectable strong frame, aggressive lower half, plus power potential, fast bat speed. Exit velo – 86 mph. He had a hard hit single in the game.
