5-foot-11, 170-pound frame, proportionate with strength throughout. Athletic right-handed swing, fluid with a flat path, strong hands with some twitch, worked on the barrel with juice to his pull-side, topping out at 98.7 mph for his EV with an average of 89 mph. Quality receiver of the baseball, quick glove-to-hand, stays in his legs and in-line from the chute, short arm circle into a ¾ release (T85 mph; 1.94 pop-time). 6.90 runner in the 60.

Another physical right-handed hitting backstop that impressed at this event: C Logan Winkleman (Christian Brothers College, 2024). Winkleman, who popped at the GBA Scout Day late last month, continued to show physicality at the plate from the right side. He repeatedly barreled baseballs up to the loudest parts of the park with a short, direct path to contact and above-average hand strength to pair. Winklema looked the part defensively as well, topping at 79 mph from the crouch while averaging 1.83-to-2.03 pops with accuracy to the bag.

Positional Profile: C/3B Body: 5-11, 180-pounds. Strong, thick lower half. Hits: RHH. Simple setup, balanced lower half, smooth load and stays in sync, short stride. Strong hands and forearms with bat speed, physical right-handed barrel. Intent out of load, level bat path, keeps the barrel in the zone. Hard off the barrel to the pull-side. Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 78.9 MPH. 340' max distance. Arm: RH. Short arm draw, high 3/4 slot. Defense: Athletic feet, gains ground towards target and creates momentum from the crouch, quick transfer to release.

One of the event’s top showings came from C Logan Winkleman (Christian Brothers College, 2024). Winkleman started his workout with an impressive showing defensively, averaging pop times at 1.96-to-2.02 seconds. He regularly popped accurate throws on the bag and topped at 79 mph, which was the hardest throw amongst all catchers from this event. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound uncommitted sophomore repeated hard contact off the barrel in BP as well.
