OF Nicholas Dawson (Truman, 2025) came away as one of the biggest winners from Tuesday’s event, flashing tools in all aspects of the game. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound soon-to-be-senior showed off his athleticism to start the day, posting the fastest 60 mark of the day with a 6.87 time. At the plate, Dawson swung a quick, left-handed barrel that created natural lift to the pull-side, averaging 89 mph per batted ball. He barreled his best ball 368 feet at 96.5 mph - both top marks at the event. His arm played with accuracy from both the infield and outfield, reaching 82 mph and 79 mph respectively.
