11/12/17 Currently ranked No. 24 in Mississippi’s 2018 class. Jones County Junior College signee. Long-limb 6-foot-4, 177-pound projectable frame. Right-handed pitcher with a long, loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes upright. Fastball sat 86-89 mph with downhill angle and occasional late life. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with late break and fastball arm speed at 74-75 mph. Flashed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 79-81 mph. Solid defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange, and plays through balls well. Short arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 85 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from an athletic setup, smooth load, short stride, solid lower half, and balance. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, short path and quality bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 87 mph. Also posted a 7.19 60-yard dash.
