Colbert Hathcock: Kirk Academy High School, Class of 2022; 6-foot-1, 170-pound projectable frame; SS/RHP. During batting practice, the left-handed hitters best exit velocity was 84 mph. Setup is comprised of tall stance and a small load. Bat speed is above average, shows an upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the infield, showed his ability to throw 78 mph across the diamond; displayed rhythmic footwork and soft hands. From a high ¾ slot, he showed consistent accuracy to the base with a short arm action. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.68. On the mound, he showed quick arm speed to the plate with an over-the-top arm angle and a short arm action. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher. He threw his curveball with consistency at 65-72 mph; showed consistent accuracy and plus action on curveball. His fastball sat 74-78 mph.
