His bat works short to the ball at times, staying level through the zone and getting extension out front. He shows feel for his barrel, looking to stay in the middle of the field with a line drive approach and ball off the bat recorded at 85 mph. Decent quickness in body but strength will improve and should help with measurables. Ran a 7.42 sixty, but flashed better off the line. Athletic behind the plate with average hands, fluid feet and clean exchanges. Pop times ranged 2.08 - 2.19. He uses a short arm action leading to an over the top slot. Shows some accuracy when he gets closed on his throws to second base. Arm speed peaked at 77 mph out of the hand. Quickness over arm strength on throws.
