Was a big get for Ball State from East Carolina out of the transfer portal. The lefthander showed a live arm with late action on a 90-91 fastball. His breaking ball had hard bite at 80-81 mph with a spin rate range of 2600-2700+. With a clean, balanced, repeatable delivery he profiles as a starter in professional baseball. Beeker looked the part of a late Day Two draft prospect.
