Kaler attacked the zone, flooding it with three pitches, lacking premium command but showing an ability to pitch the arm side and elevate at times. The fastball ranged 82-87 with a lot of 85-86 throughout the outing. Late arm side run with a spin rate averaging 1750 rpm. Change-up was effective with solid arm speed and feel for the arm side at 78-80. Breaking ball is the third pitch in the arsenal at this time but has the makings of a tough pitch as it sweeps out of the hand. As he found a consistent release, the length grew across the zone at 71.
