12/8/18 - Lanky, 6- foot, 165, Colmenares has room to add weight and strength. He is a projectable backstop with instincts for the position. He throws from a lower 3/4 slot with a quick exchange, rolling through like he is turning a double play when throwing down. At the plate, he stands centered, a bit knock-kneed, with an up and down stride. he loads almost to an arm bar, but is short to the ball as well as short through it. On the mound, he pitches from an all stretch delivery with a loose, long 3/4 arm action. He had solid zone feel with all three pitches and was consistently down in the zone.
