6-foot,200-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder who, once again, showed very well. The bat has plus life to it, tee exit velocity of 91 mph. The hands are fast and they have good strength to them. Hits out of a wide base, small toe tap and clean hand path to the ball. The path can be flattened a bit for better plate coverage and less top spin.. Chance to hit for power at the next level. Ran a 4.8 down the line on his dig to first base. Defensively, the foot work to and through the ball in done correctly. The glove is solid, can make the drop step play and handles the slow roller. Threw 81 mph across the diamond out of a lower than ¾ arm slot with run and accuracy. Solid player across the board.
Best showing of all the positional players at the workout. Defensively, can stay at third base, good on the slow roller play and showed the ability to drop step and make the 6-hole play. Glove is solid, threw 82 mph across the diamond with accuracy and carry to his throws. The foot speed is good, ran a 4.39 down the line on his dig in the game. Swung the bat very well in the game, squaring up a number of baseballs. Tee exit velocity of 92 mph. The setup is slightly open even feet start. The grip of the bat is semi-split with his hands. The bottom half is under control and the path is compact to the ball. Excellent looking prospect, as the frame projects very well, should fill out nicely.
