Monster frame at 6-foot-6 240 pounds; the 1B/RHP ran a 7.55 60. Offensively- Impressive rounds of batting practice with the wood; launched several balls well beyond the fence with minimal effort. Open stance with some flat bat, to barrel tip during his load. Stays behind the ball with an elevated approach; late one-hand finish. Defensively- Moves well around around the bag; feet get into position with a short infield arm action to start the front side of the double play. Plenty of arm for the position at 82 MPH across the diamond. Pitching- More of a secondary spot for Cook but has the stuff to get it done at the high school level sitting 84-85 MPH with a high 3/4 slot delivery. Fairly compact delivery for his frame; repeats his stride with some spin-off through his finish. Breaking ball checks in at 68-69 MPH.
