Physical: Athletic / projectable 6-foot, 175-pound frame with feel for his body. 7.10 runner in the 60-yard dash. Toledo commit.
Offensively: LHH. Balanced, even stance with a slight bend in the knees as the hands start with loose wiggle over the plate. Utilized a launch from the shoulder coupled with a lift and replace stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone, showed lift after contact with ability to get to extension easily after impact. Demonstrated some juice to the RCF gap during batting practice, quick bat and translated a solid BP round over to game action with a multitude of hits, delivers the top hand with authority and used an adjustable lower half to match plane early and often in the box. Recorded a peak bat exit velocity of 98 mph according to Trackman Baseball and there’s room for more, 333 feet maximum batted ball distance / 62 % hard hit percentage.
Defensively: The primary shortstop showed off solid lateral movements with a medium-low center of gravity, fluidity through the fielding window fielding off of the left side on the approach, hands are above average with advanced feel for transfers / catch and throw skills. Good pace from the left side of the infield with a quality arm, high ¾ slot with a quick and moderate arm circle. INF - 83 mph

Fry stands 5-foot-11, 150-pounds from a lean athletic build. At the plate relaxed approach, back elbow high, relaxed. Hands load back, front knee loads back towards inner knee for timing, hands power inside the ball, Barrel path is mostly level with full extension, 82 mph exit velocity off a tee with signs of more strength to come as he physically matures.
